POISED IN HISTORY
Fred Stroble was a U.S. Deputy Marshal who was honored by the South Carolina Senate for his trailblazing 46-year career in law enforcement which began as only one of three African Americans on the Charleston County Police force in 1962, spanning to his service on the United States District Court, collecting numerous accolades along the way.
Stroble's bravery in the face of adversity, and his ceaseless pursuit of a more just society, continue to inspire law enforcement professionals and community leaders today. The foundation bearing his name ensures that the principles he stood for - justice, courage, and service - will guide future generations.
